Marching and Cycling Band HHK will cease to exist...

The Board and the members of the Marching and Cycling Band HHK regret the decision that the MaC-Band HHK stopped to exist per end 2014. Despite the enthusiasm and motivation of the members declining subsidies and declining memberships resulted that the association financially cannot afford to exist any longer. This is for the MaC-Band HHK a big setback, especially since we have celebrated the 40th anniversary of the bicycle squad in 2013 and in 2014 we celebrated our 50th anniversary.

MaC-Band HHK in the dutch movie Pak van mijn Hart

Since November 6th 2014 the dutch feelgood movie "Pak van mijn Hart" is premièred into cinema's. In this movie, the Marching and Cycling Band HHK has a few occurences after 15 minutes from the beginning. These shots are filmed during the St. Nicolas parade 2013 in Haarlem.

Showrehearsals are almost starting

The first two rehearsals of 2014 are completed. Sunday January 26th we will start with the showrehearsals for our jubilee show. The second and third showrehearsal are scheduled for February 16th and March 16th, followed by the rehearsalweekend from April 4th - 6th.

Start of 2014

The new year started and on Wednesday January 8th the first rehearsal will begin. Also the showrehearsals and the training weekend are already planned, as well as some performances and other activities. Of course also our 50th jubilee will be celebrated this year!
We also continue working on expanding the MaC-Band HHK with new members and we also continue with growing the Music-Kids project.
